presentskeptic: (come hither)
 October 28.

That was the last time.  She was round and large, just days away from giving birth, but it's now February 14th.

More than enough time has passed, even with all the difficulties of the delivery, and the healing afterward.  Still, the old adage is true -- how do parents find the time to be with each other?

Morgana is hoping their daughter will cooperate -- just for an hour or two, by staying asleep, peacefully, in her crib in the nursery. In her parents' room her Mama is laying on the bed, waiting for Morven's daddy.

Morgana's awake. She's been awake most of the night. In fact, she's been awake for the most of the last few nights.

Every time she sleeps, she has terrible dreams. It didn't help that she had the odd run in with the doctor at the market. Even the pointing out of the rash on Morven's forehead, was a wake-up call on her lack of sleep.

She's been so careful, so protective, yet she missed something so obvious. Morgana's upset but she's trying to hold that in. It's embarrassment, and her practical side telling her that this sense of foreboding -- putting trust in the reality of dreams -- is ludicrous.

Sitting in the rocker, Morgana's favourite spot in the nursery, given the time she's spent then rocking and feeding her daughter, she's watching the baby sleep.

It's peaceful watching Morven sleep. Morgana wonders if she was ever that peaceful. She can't imagine it.

Morgana's been back at her flat for nearly a quarter of an hour.  She's awaiting Merlin's arrival -- as he has an uncanny, almost magical ability to stay out of the press.  Tonight, she has two things to offer him.

The first is the assurance he will not have to worry about telling the King.

The second is why she wore this particular dress this evening.

Our other planning post is now up to two pages.

Who needs to do that extra clicking when we can have a BRAND NEW POST.

As per all new planning posts, the first commenter gets cookies.

Morgana's found a timeless little black dress, and put on her very best Holly Golightly makeup and pearls.  If she's going to a jazz club, she's going to suit the part.  It's one of the things Morgana will always do well; she has an outfit for everything.

The thing is, she's all dressed up and without a companion.  It's not a feeling she's used to.  Men often show up on time, if not early, in an effort to impress her.

A few minutes is understandable, but at 10 minutes in, she takes off her shoes.

She is about to text him asking if there's trouble, when there's the ring at the door.  She answers it breezily, as if completely unaffected, but her comment says otherwise.  "Usually, I don't get kept waiting."

We'll come up with a better name later, and then I'll amend this post likewise.

I think this should be our cracky verse, should it not?

And point me in the direction of good photos.  Not photo shoot photos either.

Oh yes, and plan stuff here.

ETA: Track this post, people!
